Feet are often neglected when it comes to health and care. However, unhealthy feet can even lead to back problems and limit many other areas of life. Take a footbath
A foot bath is not only very pleasant and beneficial for our feet, the addition of brine salts and mountain pine stimulate circulation and revitalise stressed feet. Additives such as plant oils from rosemary and lavender even have an odour-inhibiting effect on feet that sweat quickly. However, the water should not be too hot, preferably lukewarm. Otherwise the skin will soften too much. You should also not bathe your feet for too long; depending on the temperature, a time of 10 to 20 minutes is recommended.

 

Shorten nails
The best time to trim the nails is right after the foot bath. To avoid injuries and to achieve an even result, we recommend that you work with a nail file. Of course, you can also use nail scissors, but the edges should be carefully sanded with a file. This prevents the nail from growing into the skin.

 

Remove callus
After the foot bath, the feet are nice and soft and the calluses are easier to remove. We recommend gently removing the callus with a pumice stone. A callus file, on the other hand, should only be used on dry skin. Special callus creams that intensively moisturise the skin can remove the callus after about four weeks. Cracked skin
Bacteria and fungi can get into the skin through small cracks. It is therefore important to care for dry skin with moisturising substances.
