Made in Europe

For us, environmentally friendly and fair production is very important. That's why over 95% of our products are now made in Europe. With the main location in Portugal, we can keep the production routes as short as possible and thus avoid long supply chains. This allows us to be fast and efficient and to reduce CO2 emissions by shortening transport routes. We maintain an exceptionally good and trusting relationship with our suppliers and manufacturers. We value this direct contact very much, as it simplifies communication enormously.

We have partnered with leading manufacturers in Portugal to develop and produce the best socks for you. In 2018, we invested in our own production centre in Barcelos, Portugal. Over 40 state-of-the-art Giavanni Busi machines were installed. This allows us to offer you the highest standard in textile products.

The factory facility is air-conditioned by an environmentally friendly humidification system - and the heat from our compressors is in turn used for heating in winter. In Barceolos, we apply the highest recycling standards and have full traceability of all our yarn and sock lots. Our production facility is a member of the BSCI and is regularly audited. At our main site in Switzerland, we have installed nearly 500 solar panels since April 2023. It is expected that we will be able to generate about 208 megawatts of electricity annually through this solar installation. We are proud to be able to produce so much electricity and thus take a big step towards sustainability.
